The Fire of the Living Columbia River

The River Is Flowing (Mother Carry Me)

The river is flowing, flowing and growing
The river is flowing, down the to the sea
Mother carry me, your child I will always be
Mother carry me, down to the sea

A song remembering our life cycle and the living essence of love which flows around and within us.

Hello and welcome to the inaugural page of the online journal that celebrates the Living Spirit of the River, Ocean and Winds... all while carried on a 1974 Ericson 27 Sloop called Ravenna

This journal will be the continuing stories of sailing with a mindset of gratitude for our world and her waterways. The sailboat is the vehicle for getting us closer to a more soulful and grateful connection with her elements of wind and water. The watery journeys are tales told by the Spirits and Humans who are reaching into a new era of communion with the planet. The words here are only invitations to explore your own adventures in the world and to celebrate the privilege of living with us.

So Let us Begin Ravenna's Adventures...

The Vessel of Water for Your Healing Prayers
We'll start with meeting you on the Columbia River for a Summer Solstice of Sharing Sacred Space. We meet with the intention of seeing the Rivers(s) wonder and gratitude, while living more thoughtfully in regards to their life force.

You are welcome to join us and the Friends at Breathing Room Yoga and Wattle Tree Place on the banks of Surprise Beach to remember our powerful and majestic Columbia River.

A simple ceremony of song and prayer will be offered. The sailing vessel Ravenna will be just offshore of the beach with the resounding songs of the gong, crystal bowl and drum. We ask for your shore side prayers and support as we pour the jar of water that has received so many of your healing intentions at the Rising Moon Yoga sound healing class, Breathing Room Yoga and Fire Rhythms Vancouver

Sign up for the event at Rising Moon Yoga Events Page Facebook or just come for a half hour and join us and the river. Here are the details:
Thank You for being here with us in cyber-space.
Let's meet soon on the river.

Love,
Rick
